The Mosque of Islamic Solidarity is a mosque located in Mogadishu, Somalia. The mosque was built in 1976 with funds from the Saudi government during the reign of King Fahd. The Mogadishu Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Mogadishu, Somalia. It served as the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mogadiscio until 1991, when it was torn down by bombing. The cathedral is an old historic italian architecture built in 1928 by the Italian authorities in the former Italian Somaliland, much of which has been destroyed by Islamic radicals.

The beach is located in northern Mogadishu, built specifically for Italian colonialists in the 1930s. The tomb of unknown soldier is a national monument built 60 years ago. The monument was created in honour of the Somali men and women who died in defense of the Somali Republic. It’s popularly known as Daljirka Dahsoon, and it is an important landmark in Mogadishu. A historic place that captures the tragedies that Somalians have lived.
