The cathedral is an old historic italian architecture built in 1928 by the Italian authorities in the former Italian Somaliland, much of which has been destroyed by Islamic radicals.

The tomb of unknown soldier is a national monument built 60 years ago. The monument was created in honour of the Somali men and women who died in defense of the Somali Republic. It’s popularly known as Daljirka Dahsoon, and it is an important landmark in Mogadishu. A historic place that captures the tragedies that Somalians have lived.
