This town is a year-round travel destination with consistently warm and wet weather. From the Entebbe International Airport, you can get connecting flights from here to most cities of the Africa. And for those looking to get Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda. Best way to get to Kampala from the Entebbe airport is preferably with taxis. There are taxis outside the airport which can charge you $20-35 to Kampala.

The Entebbe Botanical Garden is one of the top things to do in Entebbe, where to experience true nature. The garden offers a beautiful scenery, bird and monkey watching while enjoying gentle breeze from the lake. Its purified assorted vegetation makes it a great spot for picnics, incredible, nature at its best, with nice views of the Lake Victoria.

White Sands Beach

There’s no better way to explore the beaches in Entebbe than visiting the White Sands Beach. Being close to the airport, is a good place to stop when you are early for your flight. Lovely nature spot with a serene engagement environment and good security, nice lake breeze, beautiful people, good meals and clean beach water. You can always cool down with a dip in the glamorous fresh water after saying hello to the sun.

Explore the Lake Victoria from Entebbe, there are boat tours for visitors to take and see fishing villages across the lake. This is a massive lake with plenty of bird life, it’s one of the African Great Lakes. A onehour long cruise with spectacular sunset views, make for a good picture taking opportunity. Sunsets on the lake are breath-taking.

Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre

Head to the shores of Africa’s largest lake and visit this Ugandan zoo in Entebbe. An animal sanctuary with lions and giraffes as well as children’s rides and play area. The centre specializes in wildlife rescues and rehabilitation, and captive breeding of endangered wildlife species as well as educating the public on conservation of wildlife. This is a top attraction in Entebbe, and one of the only wildlife sites with all of Africa’s Big Five. The Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre is a must-see whenever in the town. There are professional guides on site with special care about your safety, providing knowledgeable insights into each species of animals.
