You can’t beat a nice cool detox smoothie packed with lots of lovely fruit to boost your immune when you feeling a little run down. This refreshing tropical immune booster smoothie recipe is enriched by hints of ginger, lemon spicy turmeric. Start the week with our detox smoothie, quick and simple to make, it is the perfect drink to keep you going throughout the day.

Ingredients

for 2 servings

  • 1 cup diced pineapple (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 red apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 ginger root, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ½ yellow bell pepper, diced
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • Mint, for garnish

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and mix on high until consistency is smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses, and top with fresh mint and other desired toppings.
  3. Enjoy!
